The board was established on 1982 as a Government Professional Examination Board of Madhya Pradesh. The headquarter of the board is located at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. The board conducts various written examination every year. The board also conducts the written examination for filling various posts in various government and semi government departments and also conducts the entrance examination for providing admission in 9th class in various Madhya Pradesh Schools, Vikas Khand Satariy Model School and Lok Shikshan Santhalaya. Recently the board has successfully conducted the written exam for the various post of Dairy federation on 28th February 2016 at various exam centre.
