The Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) is a public state university. The university is located at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was Established on 8th May 2000 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The university was bifurcated into separate universities: Gautam Buddha Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University with effect from May 1, 2010. It is the biggest technical university in Asia. The university offers various engineering courses in various fields of Electrical Engineering and Allied Fields, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology and Allied Fields, Mechanical Engineering and Allied Fields, Computer Engineering and Allied Fields, Textile Engineering and Allied Fields, Agriculture Engineering and Allied Fields and Civil Engineering and Allied Fields. The university conducts Special Carry Over Exam (Special COP Exam) every year. Every year the university conducts examination in the month of October and November. Recently the university was conducted the written examination and now the students are waiting for Special Carry Over Exam Results.
