The department was established on 1922 under the Department of Revenue of the Ministry of Finance. Recently the department has been announced the notification for Income Tax Department Recruitment 2016. This notification has been added for filling total 39 posts of the Inspector, Tax Assistant, MTS and Stenographer Grade -II posts under sports Quota.
