The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University is located in the city of Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. The university is formally as called Vellore Engineering College. It was established on 1984 as a Deemed University. The university offers 18 undergraduate and 34 postgraduate programmes and draws students from 47 countries. Every year the university conducts the VIT Master's Entrance Examination for admission in MCA & M.Tech Programme. This year also the university conduts the counselling for Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITMEE). The counselling will be held in two phase. The VITMEE 2014 Phase 1 Counselling will be held very soon. Any interested and eligiable Candidates need to furnish the specified documents and certificates for verification in this counselling.
